I attach importance to a systematic chess education, the emphasis is on the study of the most crucial area of chess, the middlegame. I have already been giving chess lessons for 25 years, during which time I have collected my own extensive material on topics such as variant calculation technique, prophylactic thinking, maneuvering and improving piece position, statics and dynamics, typical pawn structures and plans, defense and many others.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im Jahr 2In 2020, Schachreisen published my first book “Feuer frei<\/a>“, which deals with typical ideas and motifs for a successful king attack. In 2021, New in Chess published the English translation entitled “Attacking strategies for Club Players<\/a>“. Also in 2021 my second book “The Queen’s Gambit<\/a>” was published by the same publisher, which is a complete Black repertoire against all white openings except 1.e4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As far as openings are concerned, I am convinced that the opening repertoire should grow with the player: if a consistent application of the “Three Golden Opening Rules” is sufficient at the beginning, the repertoire should be broadened and deepened with increasing playing strength. I am convinced that young players should exclusively play 1.e4 and stay with it up to a level of about 2300 Elo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, the regular participation in (long-term) tournaments with the subsequent detailed analysis of the games played has a very high priority in my training concept. If necessary, the training will be adjusted accordingly to eliminate any weaknesses in the game immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also in the endgame area I have a well sorted own material on all topics, at the same time I can unreservedly recommend the book by Bernd Rosen “Fit im Endspiel” (for beginners in the topic) and “Die Endspieluniversit\u00e4t” by Mark Dvorezky (for deepening).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hold the A trainer’s license of the German Chess Federation as well as the title of FIDE Senior Trainer, the highest trainer certificate the World Chess Federation has to award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
